| The Goal-Line Story ...... | |
...... began as a localized soccer clinic in the Yakima region of Washington in the summer of 1984. The goal of Director, Tom Rowney, was to provide the children of the Northwest with a summer camp run by experienced and qualified coaches and not by professional, college, or high school players whose coaching experience is limited to the summer months camp season. This principle has helped Goal-Line become one of the largest and most respected soccer camp organizations in the US. We have conducted over 700 camps in over 40 cities throughout the Pacific Northwest. |

....... is simple. We are committed to providing the best possible soccer experience for the boys and girls who are placed under our supervision. To us it is a question of maximization: that is, we maximize both learning and enjoyment. Our staff work tremendously hard to provide an environment where improvement in our campers’ self-concept as well as improvement in soccer skill is accomplished. The format at our clinics revolves around achieving significant gains for the individual camper. Our coaching staff have the experience and knowledge to coach both basic and advanced tactics and techniques depending on the developmental level of the individual. We emphasize coaching to the ability of the individual camper and not merely to the group as a whole. In this way we expect that each camper progress commensurate with their own skill and temperament. As Goal-Line has grown over the years we have continued to provide exceptional staff for the children who attend our clinics and have consistently upgraded our coaching content and methodology.
